Our culture badly needs role models and it's true that public figures are role models whether they want to be or not. In this week's Power For Living, we find see Jesus warning the Pharisees the because they didn't recognize Him as their Messiah, they were failing as role models for the people. That put their eternal destiny in danger.

We all need to show an ID to prove who we are. When Jesus said He was the Light of the World, the Pharisees didn't believe Him. They wanted more proof. In this week's program, we learn that through the exchange between Jesus and the Pharisees in John 8:12-20, Jesus proved He was the Light and so much more.

What if Jesus kept a "grade book" on each of us? What would our grades look like? In this week's Power For Living, we find out that a woman caught in adultery had her failing grade erased. And we also rediscover that Jesus uses His authority as the Chief Teacher to also erase our failing grades.

When you're really hot, dry, and thirsty, what do you want? You want a big drink of something cold. In this week's Power For Living, we discover that when life leaves us dry and thirsty, Jesus calls us to come to Him. He is the only One who can give us the living water that satisfies.
